Which of the seven apartments suits you
All seven apartments are in the same building, 200m from the beach, and every one of them has a kitchen, air conditioning and a washing machine. What differs is size, how many bedrooms, and how many people can sleep comfortably rather than technically. This is the short guide we'd give you on the phone.
The short version
- Two of you: Apartment 1, a 40m2 studio.
- A family of four or five: Apartments 3, 4, 6 or 7, all 60-65m2.
- Five or six: Apartments 2 or 5, both 100m2.
- Two bathrooms only exist in Apartment 2. If that matters to you, it is the only one.
Two of you
Apartment 1 is the studio: 40m2 on the ground floor, one queen bed and a fold-out sofa in a combined bedroom and lounge, one bathroom. The kitchen and bathroom are new. It sleeps 2 to 3, so a couple with a small child works.
Ground floor means no stairs, which some guests want and others don't think about until they're carrying a suitcase. It's the smallest and least expensive of the seven.
Four or five of you
Four apartments sit in this range and the differences between them are real, if small.
Apartment 3 is 65m2 with two bedrooms and a work corner with a desk and chair - the one to ask for if somebody needs to work. Newly renovated, with a walk-in shower.
Apartment 4 is 60m2 but with one bedroom rather than two, plus a fold-out sofa in the lounge. It has a sunlit balcony on a quiet aspect. Better for a couple who want space than for four adults who want doors.
Apartment 6 and Apartment 7 are both 60m2, two bedrooms, one bathroom, and both keep the high ceilings the 1930s are good for. Apartment 6 sits in a quiet corner set back from the street. Apartment 7 looks onto the trees along Ruppin Street itself. If you like waking up to a view of something green, ask for 7; if you're a light sleeper, ask for 6.
Five or six of you
Apartment 2 is the largest and the only one with two bathrooms: 100m2 on the first floor, three bedrooms, a balcony, a designer kitchen, individual air conditioning in each room, and a dining table that seats six. The main bedroom is en-suite. For two families travelling together, the second bathroom is usually the deciding factor.
Apartment 5 is also 100m2, on the second floor, recently refurbished, with two bedrooms rather than three and one bathroom. Large lounge and dining areas and a large balcony. It suits a family of five or six who'd rather have the balcony than the third bedroom.

- Air conditioning in every room
- A washing machine
- Free Wi-Fi
- Cable TV, with Netflix in several units
Pets are welcome in all of them, which is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly.
A note on Apartment 8
There's an Apartment 8 and you can't book it. It has a long-term tenant. We mention it because it appears on the site and in a few listings elsewhere, and we'd rather you knew before you asked for it.
The building holds 11 apartments in total. Seven are let to guests, and the rest are homes.

Rates run from USD $180 to $360 a night, varying by season and by the size of the apartment.
